I am a singer/songwriter from Granite City, IL. That’s about a ten minute drive from downtown St. Louis for those of you who’ve never vacationed in sunny Granite City.

This site exists because I need approval from everyone.

I am in the middle of recording my first solo album and I will keep all four of my fans (Hi Mom) up to date with album snippets, demo recordings, and anything else I can think of to increase my traffic.

Born: September 26, 1972

I was forced to take up the guitar after the dresses afforded me less respect than planned.

In high school I joined my first band: The Influence.

The Influence

I attended Webster University from 1990 to 1993 as a tenor saxophone player majoring in Jazz studies.

After completing my junior year I quit school and moved to Nashville, TN.

Moving Day

I joined The Fugitive Popes as their front man.

It actually made our guitar player famous. The guy standing next to me in that picture is Barry Graul. He now plays guitar for Mercy Me.

I met my wife Angel in Nashville. Back then she looked like this.

We worked at a record store together. A mall record store.

After moving back home in 1994, I formed the band Koffterweid.

We released Without Benefit of Clergy so long ago I don’t remember.

Angel and I were married on May 2, 1998.
