Solo Album Demo
Here is one of many demos for my new album. I’m not going to release all the demos in their entirety like we did with The Formula Kid. In hindsight I think that may have been a mistake in some ways. Mostly because I often end up liking the demo better than the final recording and sometimes wish that no one had heard the demo because then they wouldn’t know any better. So here’s a small snippet from a song called Macarena Shoes.
Just sort of randomly picking through your blogs…
It’s nice. It’s like – I never watched Six feet Under when it was on. What idiot would shell out for HBO? So I never knew how good it was until I rented the DVDs. Then I could go through them at my leisure. (which, for the most part, meant I devoured them all at once.)
And now I don’t have to pace around the room waiting for you to think up your next blog, which may or may not turn out to be amusing (you need to work harder at that). Now I have a whole backlog of intestinal disorders and optometry break-ups and whatnot to keep me busy, which is very reassuring.
Anyhow, the only real reason I’m leaving this steaming pile of commentary is just to say that this bit of demo is really beautiful. Damn. I wish I could download all these MP3s of yours, alas, i am a mac user… I’d love to be able to put “posthumously” on my itunes, but – oh, crap. I just figured it out.
Okay, well, we’ll be seeing you. Take care, now.
