My Extreme Diarrhea Makeover
For those of you who’ve been following my blog for a while you might remember me talking about some serious intestinal problems I was having. They started back in July as soon as I got home from a vacation in Florida with my family. Those problems have only recently been remedied. In fact, I saw (yet another) G.I. doc right before the first of the year and his diagnoses and proposed remedy seem to be working quite swimmingly.
My weight loss during this whole ordeal was dramatic enough that I stopped weighing myself after having lost 25 lbs. The other morning I decided to see how much of that 25 lbs I had put back on in the last few weeks since my problems have stopped. It turns out I have actually lost another 15 lbs. I couldn’t believe it. I have actually been feeling rather fat as of late being that I’m not on the toilet for two hours a day.
Here is a picture of me and my brother Taylor from that vacation back in July. My breasts look proud and pretty in this picture. I would guess I probably weighed 235 lbs then. Dig the Maxtone Four shirt.

This next picture was taken today. It’s all Photoshopy and stuff but that doesn’t matter. I’m at 195 lbs in this picture. Diarrhea has made me feel so good about myself. Thanks Diarrhea.

That picture of both of us looks weird. It looks like we’ve been standing there for 5 minutes waiting for the globe thingy to spin around so we could have the PERFECT picture. And it also looks like I have some sort of limp. And you just look like a tourist.
You should write a book and call it “The Diarrhea Diet- How to Lose 40 Lbs in Six Months!”. Then go on Oprah. It should be a huge hit- you will be the toast of Hollywood.
I could write “The Rare Auto-immune Disorder Diet- How to Lose 40 Lbs In Two Months!” I don’t think mine would be as successful though…
Here’s wishing you a 2007 full of normal BM’s. (touching, right!)
It WAS the perfect picture!!! Didn’t I tell you it would be worth the wait?
… MAN, I’m good!
I think Angel actually missed it the first time around so we had to wait a full 24 hours for the Universal world to come back around again.
Jeff, a whole year of normal BM’s sounds like the greatest thing in the world to me.
Ok, you’ve got a picture of Taylor up there and your wife and your son, now you need one of your sister. You know, that red-headed chick you only see at Christmas time because we live a billion light years away.
i’m so happy to see mr. drew representing the maxtone down yonder in the FLO! and to be mentioned in the same post as diarrhea! hey, honestly, this has been a good thing for all of us–now i actually know how to spell “diarrhea”!
